I like that there are oats in a couple of the formulas because oats have some good vitamins for skin and coats. Even though you might see oats in your dog’s stools, this does not mean you dog didn’t absorb any nutrients from it. It’s just like some of the food humans eat, we can see it in our stools but we still benefit from absorbing the nutrients out of it. It is only the excess that comes out in the stool.

If you don’t like grains, you can use Embark, Force, or Preference.

DoggieSkye loves this food. I just got him on it in Sept. 2009. I mix in some meat with and it’s a great healthy meal for him. Had him on RAW a few months ago, he didn’t do so well on it, so to me this is the next best thing.

Huge fan Leerberg! Im on honest kitchen but i see the rolled outs inthe verve, and i see the rolled oats in my dogs stools, so is this an ingredient that shouldn’t be in there? my dogs obviously not breaking it down, which i assume its body can’t, is the embark better?
